My Story
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, country music has surrounded my life - from county fair concerts, Friday night dance halls and even backyard songwriting, it's always been there for me.
My career in the music industry began while attending Texas State University (Eat 'em up!), which gave me a unique introduction to the industry, particularly in the songwriting process and live music scene. Cheatham Street Warehouse's Songwriter Circle on Wednesday nights was an eye-opener for songwriting, and with an insane supply of local venues to choose from, every week provided new artists and bands for me to discover.
While in college I worked at Whitewater Amphitheater where I was able to experience concerts from the back-end and get my feet wet with their inner workings. I saw the ins and outs of the day-of process, from band load-in and load-out, to rehearsal, and even the life of the artists and bands throughout the day.

In time and throughout these experiences, I have become friends with artists, bands, managers, and songwriters alike. The country music industry is one that I have aspired to be a part of, and Texota Music Management is my single greatest step yet towards turning my dream into my reality.
